Terms & Conditions
Certification Requirements: To be eligible to earn your certificate you must attend the full course, including all dates/times if the course is split into multiple dates and pass a written exam at the end of the class as well as pass all hands on exercises such as bandaging skills.
Animals in class:
Only registered dogs, that are able to be calm throughout the course, friendly with people and other dogs are allowed in class for bandaging practice. Disruptive dogs may be dismissed at any time at the students risk of missing the class and be ineligible to receive their certificate. All dogs must be kept on leash and under control at all times. The dog owner is fully responsible for the behavior of their dog at all time and K9 Possible or it's members assume no liability for any behavior, injury or damage caused by or to the dog due to participation in class.
No other animals are allowed in class.
Cancellations Policy
If cancellation is made anytime up to 7 days prior to the course start date an administration fee of $50 will apply. Any cancellations after that no money will be refunded and spots can not be transferred to a future class. In case of illness, the student must present a doctors note to be eligible to have their spot transferred to a future date.
Liability Waiver / Assumption Of Risk
The student(s)
(a) CONSENTS TO AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES THE RISK OF ANY AND ALL injuries or loss that may occur in the course of or as a result of his or her attendance at or her presence at or observation of the event, including without limitation, equipment failures, injuries due to dangerous or unsafe premises or equipment, dog bites, being jumped on, scratched or otherwise injured by a dog, dog fights, physical falls, and athletic injuries, any of which can result in injuries all the way up to catastrophic injury or death.
(b) WAIVES ANY AND ALL CLAIMS of any kind that he or she has or may have at any time or in the future against K9 Possible or the facility and its members the event is hosted at, and its Dog Owners, principals, employees, agents, volunteers, supervisors, landlords, seminar teachers/presenters, coaches, and helpers, including without limitation Simone Krebser (all of whom are collectively referred to as the “Releasees”) or any of them for any damage or loss, including without limitation property damage, damage to a dog, economic loss, injury, disability, disease, illness or even death.
(c) RELEASES the Releasees and each of them from any and all liability, claims, and causes of action of any and all kinds that are related in any way to loss, damage, property damage, economic loss, damage or economic loss to any dog or dogs, expense, injury, harm, illness, disease, personal injury or death that he or she may suffer that relates to or arises from services provided by K9 Possible, regardless of when or where it occurs, due to any cause whatsoever, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OF CARE, INCLUDING ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED UNDER THE OCCUPIERS LIABILITY ACT, R.S.B.C. 1979, C. 303, OR UNDER ANY THEORY OF PREMISES LIABILTY AT COMMON LAW ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES;
(d) AGREES TO FULLY DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releasees from any and all claims, suits or actions that arise out of or relate to the student's participation or observation with or at training or helper work provided through K9 Possible that are brought against the Releasees or any of them by the Student or anyone claiming by or through the Student or on the Student's behalf.
